A Puppy Needed a Wheelchair. Duke’s Co-Lab Had a Solution.

Meet Scooter. Born without use of her front legs, this pup from Durham-based Hope Animal Rescue, can now go on walks thanks to Duke’s Innovation Co-Lab, where a 3D-printed wheelchair was made just for her. Less pain, more adventures!

Scooter is still just a puppy and will continue to grow. Most likely she will need a new wheelchair to fit her growing body, and the Co-Lab team is learning from her experience to understand what design will work best for her.
