Advisory Committee on Investment Responsibility Open Forum to be Held Nov. 7
Duke community members are invited to attend the annual forum hosted by the Advisory Committee on Investment Responsibility (ACIR) to learn more about the committee’s work and to bring forward issues of societal concern related to the investment of the university’s assets. The forum will be virtual on Zoom from 4-5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7.
Registration is required; an online registration form is available on the ACIR website.
Attendees are encouraged to submit questions beforehand via email to submitACIR@duke.edu. Participants will also have an opportunity to share suggestions concerning university investments and social responsibility at the forum, if time permits.
ACIR advises President Vincent Price and Executive Vice President Daniel Ennis on social responsibility issues related to endowment investments. In recent years, ACIR has made recommendations on conflict minerals, Darfur, fossil fuels and transparency of endowment holdings.
The committee’s previous reports can be found on the Documents page of the ACIR website.
