Duke staff and faculty are invited to attend the women’s soccer team’s annual Employee and Appreciation Game on Sept. 12 for a special $5 ticket rate.

The game against Missouri starts at 7 p.m. in Koskinen Stadium. Tickets are regularly $7 per person, but the discounted price can be obtained by entering promo code DPA under the Promotions tab at goduke.com/wsoccertix.

“We are excited to have our annual Duke Employee and Professor Appreciation night on Sept. 12 and hope we see a number of Duke employees, professors and families come out and see our team play,” said Robbie Church, Duke women’s soccer head coach. “We’re going to have an exciting team to watch this season and to have the Duke community support would mean a lot to our staff and student-athletes.”

Last season, the women’s soccer team finished 6-7-3. The team has been voted to finish seventh in the ACC this year in a preseason coaches’ poll, and junior forward Kat Rader has been named to the preseason All-ACC team for the second year in a row. This is Church’s final season after 23 years as Duke’s head coach.

Duke women’s soccer is one of several athletics teams to host an Employee and Professor Appreciation Game. The game will feature postgame autographs with the team.

“To be able to recognize professors at the match will be special, as well, as they a big role in role in the student-athlete experience at Duke,” Church said. “We hope to see everyone at Koskinen Stadium soon.”
