No matter your role at Duke, among the places where community members can find an open invitation to engage is Duke University Chapel.
At Duke Chapel, staff and faculty can enrich their work experience through worship, music, art and conversation.
For Karen Steinhauser, the Duke University Chapel Choir - the oldest established music ensemble at Duke University - drew her to Duke Chapel.
“It was just an immediate way to get to know one another and lots of people I wouldn’t have normally come into contact with,” said Steinhauser, a professor in the Duke Department of Population Health Sciences.
