In his 20 years at Duke, Daniel Walker, Building Manager for Duke University Libraries, has developed into a leader and problem solver for his team. He develops and maintains relationships across campus to ensure work is completed on time and in the correct manner.
Recently, Walker was recognized for his contributions, receiving the Florence Blakely Collaboration Award from Duke University Libraries. The award acknowledges excellence in working with others and across departments or teams.
“It was flattering to know that my colleagues, they saw the work that I do and appreciate everything that I do around here,” Walker said.
