DICE (Disability Inclusion & Community Engagement) Affinity Group
DICE envisions a Duke community where employees with disabilities and allies are valued, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential. The group is intended for disabled individuals/self-advocates and non-disabled advocates/allies/caregivers. DICE will focus on helping members of the disabled community more easily find, communicate, meet and mentor each other to build a sense of belonging and community at Duke, as well as advocate for increased accessibility within the workplace.

Anti-Racism Employee Resource Group
The Anti-Racism ERG is intended to explore anti-racism from the perspective of whiteness. The primary goal of the new ERG will be to provide a home for employees who are seeking a brave space to learn about, reflect on, and understand barriers to dismantling systemic racism from the perspective of the majority racial group. Through intentional learning, discussion, and reflection participants will strive to raise their self-awareness, and grow their ability to act as effective agents for change.

Special Events Planners Council
The purpose of the Special Events Planners Council (SEPC) is to professionalize, elevate, and foster community for all employees holding positions at Duke that support the planning and/or execution of events in all their forms. SEPC members are a crucial, outward facing constituency of employees present in many Duke units who frequently interact with various stakeholders across Duke units and throughout the broader community.

Jewish Employee Resource Group
The Duke Jewish Employee Resource Group is dedicated to building a supportive community where Jewish employees can connect, engage, and thrive. Our primary goals are to create connections, facilitate networking and support, promote awareness and understanding of diverse Jewish identities, experiences, and perspectives, stand together against antisemitism and all forms of hate and discrimination, and serve as advocates for members of the Duke Jewish community. Through our efforts, and in partnership with Duke and other ERGs, we will strive to help strengthen a Duke community committed to shared values, inclusivity and belonging.

Muslim Employee Resource Group at Duke:
The purpose of the Muslim Employee Resource Group is to foster a diverse, inclusive, and safe place aligned with Duke’s mission and values. We are committed to creating an environment that gives employees the chance to celebrate our diversity, beliefs, culture, and authenticity within the Duke community. The Muslim Employee Resource Group will create a platform for other Muslim employees and allies as an opportunity to unite and empower each other. We will work to address Islamophobia and other prejudices by establishing and upholding the positive and caring culture that Islam teaches.

Do you work fully remote in North Carolina or from one of 20 approved states? Aimed at bridging geographical gaps and bringing colleagues closer together in meaningful ways, this group will help provide a sense of belonging and foster camaraderie and inclusion. Whether through personal connections, professional growth, or social support, you can be part of shaping the future of our remote workforce.
