A Colorful Encouragement to Donate Life
Painted lawn mural supports organ donations
April is National Donate Life Month and the lawn in front of Duke University Hospital was painted as a testament to those awaiting a life-saving transplant and to honor those who gave the gift of life through organ, eye, and tissue donation.
To learn more about organ transplants at Duke, visit the Duke Health website.
The Donate Life mural can be seen from all hospital pavilions around the south entrance to the hospital.
