Search Committee Named for New Vice President and General Counsel

President Vincent Price has appointed a committee to conduct a national search for Duke University’s next Vice President and General Counsel.

The search committee will be chaired by Kerry Abrams, James B. Duke and Benjamin N. Duke Dean of the School of Law and Distinguished Professor of Law. Other members of the committee include:

  • Scott Gibson, Executive Vice Dean for Administration, Duke University School of Medicine
  • Katy Hollister, Trustee
  • Trina Jones, Jerome M. Culp Distinguished Professor of Law; Chair of the Academic Council; Director, Center on Law, Race & Policy
  • Karen King, Trustee
  • Antwan Lofton, Vice President of Human Resources & Chief Human Resources Officer
  • Rachel Satterfield, Vice President for Finance and Treasurer
  • Neal Triplett, President & CEO, DUMAC

The search committee, which is being assisted by the executive search firm Major, Lindsey & Africa, is accepting nominations and applications for the position.
