Sudipa Topdar, an associate professor in the Department of History at the Illinois State University, spoke this week as part of the John Hope Franklin Center’s "Wednesdays at the Center" series. Her lecture, "Schoolgirl Pens: Girlhoods, Microhistories, and the Transnational Circulation of Knowledge in Late Colonial India," was co-sponsored by Duke India Initiative (DII) and Asian and Middle Eastern Studies (AMES).
