Said@Duke: Dr. Ebony Carter, director of the division of maternal-fetal medicine, UNC-Chapel Hill. "Equity is both a process and an outcome... we really need to be focusing on the process of how we get there."

Dr. Ebony Carter was the guest speaker at the 2024 Donald T. Moore, MD, Endowed Lecture, a Duke Centennial event. Carter is associate professor and director of the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UNC-Chapel Hill. She is a graduate of the Duke University School of Medicine.
