Said@Duke: Hein de Haas on 'Rethinking Human Mobility'
Hein de Haas, a Dutch sociologist and geographer, is professor of sociology at the University of Amsterdam and a founding member and director of the International Migration Institute. He spoke this week as part of the John Hope Franklin Center’s "Wednesdays at the Center" series with his lecture, "Rethinking Human Mobility: The Need for a new Migration Paradigm." The event was co-sponsored by Duke Program on Climate-Related Migration and Duke Office of Global Affairs.
