John Dailey, currently Duke’s Chief of Police, has been promoted to Associate Vice President, Public Safety (and Chief of Police). While Dailey’s duties as Chief of Police will continue, his new responsibilities include leadership of Emergency Management and Business Continuity. Dailey now reports directly to the Executive Vice President.

In addition, Disability Management System, led by Christina Kline, will now report to Antwan Lofton, Vice President, Human Resources. The unit will continue to maintain its relationship to the Office of the Executive Vice President.

“Duke is fortunate to have such strong leadership to take responsibility for these critical operating units and services,” Ennis said. “They and their teams are well positioned for continuous improvement in meeting the needs of the Duke community.”
