Harassment & Discrimination Policy: The policy reference on the Human Resources website now points directly to the Office for Institutional Equity website with the source policy.
Nepotism Policy: Policy updated to clarify the approval process for requesting a waiver of the policy and what types of relationships are covered by the policy. The policy also now describes the management plan required for any approved waivers.
Eligibility for Benefits Policy: statement added to clarify that all staff, regardless of work schedule, are eligible to participate with their own contributions to the Duke Faculty and Staff Retirement Plan.
Arrest or Conviction Policy: language added to indicate that a citation of arrest, as well as an arrest, requires notification of supervisor within seven calendar days.
Hours Worked Policy: language added for consistency requiring hourly-paid staff to work within North Carolina and updated regarding the beginning and end of the “workday.”
