Said@Duke: NASA's David Pierce on the Future of Commercial, Government Space Activities
Duke's Space Diplomacy Lab launched its "Space Economy Series" with a webinar featuring David L. Pierce, director of NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility, located on Virginia’s coast. The event last week addressed the burgeoning commercial space industry and NASA’s role in that expansion in the U.S. and globally. Wallops is poised to increase its launches to more than 50 a year by 2030.
