Early February, Early Spring
Early February, Early Spring
This week, the campus is filled with outdoor activity and floral and arboreal blooms as days of warm weather usher in an early spring. From West Campus to Duke Gardens there are signs of spring all about.
On Monday, students, faculty and staff enjoyed socializing and studying outside the Perk under a Japanese apricot tree, one of the earliest signs of spring. Not far away, students filled the quad will their cheers and laughter during several volleyball games. Others spent quieter times talking with friends or taking in new blooms on the quad and in Duke Gardens.
It’s weeks like this that remind all of us in the Duke community we love this campus in February,
