Duke Launches National Employee Discount Program

Thousands of travel, entertainment, shopping and other brands offer 5% to 60% off

Duke staff and faculty can save on everything from hotel stays to concert tickets through the new “Duke National Employee Discount Program,” which offers reduced prices on thousands of national brands and experiences.

The benefit, coordinated through a partnership between Duke Human Resources and Working Advantage, complements Duke’s existing PERQS Discount Program, expanding the range of discounts available to staff and faculty both in the Triangle area and across the country.

“As Duke’s workforce continues to grow and evolve, we want to be intentional about providing benefits that employees can use wherever they live and work,” said Antwan Lofton, Vice President for Duke Human Resources. “Working Advantage builds on the value of our existing PERQS Program by expanding access to discounts and savings opportunities across the country. It’s a fantastic addition for our employees.”

Duke staff and faculty can enroll in the national program by visiting https://duke.savings.workingadvantage.com. Either your duke.edu email address or a personal email address can be used to register. 

Average discounts in the Duke National Employee Discount Program range from 5% to 60%, with brands such as Disney, Apple, Enterprise Rent-A-Car and Avis Rent-A-Car among the most popular nationally. Tickets to sporting events, live concerts and Broadway performances are also available at a discount.

Working Advantage says it has found that consumers who use the platform can save an average of $5,000 annually. FunLife Rewards can be earned through Working Advantage’s loyalty program by purchasing eligible products and services to accumulate points that can be used on additional purchases. 

Through Sept. 15, Working Advantage is offering Duke staff and faculty $10 off by using promo code DUKESAVE10 when purchasing through the site.

Redeem the reward code for tickets, hotels and other eligible purchases through the Working Advantage Savings Marketplace at duke.savings.workingadvantage.com or by calling 866-546-3713. Rewards cannot be redeemed for cash except where required and are subject to expiration dates and program terms.

In addition to the new program, additional discounts remain available through the existing PERQS Discount Program for deals in the Triangle area and across the country. Discounts range from entertainment and home improvement to pet care and restaurants. Businesses that want to participate in the PERQS Program can learn how to apply here.
