Meet Sarah Hay, Senior Events & Communications Manager for the Sanford School of Public Policy

Sarah Hay, Senior Events & Communications Manager for the Sanford School of Public Policy, serves as a resource for the coordination of all events at Sanford. Her duties include planning and organizing major events and developing marketing and publicity plans.

While she oversees numerous events during the year, Hay plans six major lectures a year that are part of The Terry Sanford Distinguished Lecture Series.

In her time at Duke, Hay has planned and coordinated events for several high profile guests including former United States Representative Liz Cheney, and former United States Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg.

"I can't imagine myself being anywhere else right now," Hay said. "... We are trying to make the world a better place, and if I can be just a small part of that, it makes me delighted."
