Duke’s Asian Students Association hosts their annual performing arts showcase Converge in Page Auditorium. This year it took place on Feb. 6 and 7 with the theme of Kaleidoscope, bringing together dances, performances, and music of all different cultures and backgrounds from the vibrant Asian American Pacific Islander community at Duke.
Here are some snapshots from the event:
Bull City Raas performs garba and raas, which are Indian folk dance styles and music from Gujarat. Pureun, Duke's premier competitive K-pop dance group, performs their S.U.P.E.R. set.Defining Movement, a multicultural dance group, performs their “Celebration in Color” set.Duke first-years Nicole Li, Jeffrey Li and Charlotte Wang perform “Passing Through,” a contemporary trio dance.
