Supporting Community Members Affected by Disruptions in Food Assistance Programs

Staff and faculty can help through food donations or financial support

Duke Human Resources is sponsoring a food donation program to support those in the community who have been affected by the disruption to federal food assistance programs in recent weeks. 

How You Can Help

Duke staff and faculty can make a difference in supporting the community through the following: 

  • Food donations: Beginning Wednesday, Nov. 19, members of the Duke community can drop off donations at the Duke HR lobby at 705 Broad St. during normal business hours (8 a.m. – 5 p.m.) Monday – Friday. Duke HR will coordinate distribution of donations to food pantries in the local area. 
  • Financial Support: Members of the Duke community can make monetary contributions to Duke’s Doing Good Emergency Relief Fund support local nonprofits focused on education, health, housing, and disaster relief.
