Tricks, Treats and Fresh Eats at Farmers Market Season Finale

Visit the special ‘Hol’AHH’Day’ Farmers Market on Oct. 31 for a spooktacular time

Come prepared for mostly treats – and maybe a few tricks – at a special bonus “Hol’AHH’Day” Duke Farmers Market on Oct. 31.

The Halloween-themed version of the market will take place 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Duke Medical Pavilion Greenway, and feature fall fruits and vegetables – along with some special spooky and scary features.

Marketgoers are encouraged to dress up in Halloween costumes when attending the market, which is the final market for the 2024 season. Prizes will be awarded during a costume contest hosted by LIVE FOR LIFE, the Duke employee wellness program.

Organizers at LIVE FOR LIFE promise “tricks and treats,” including Halloween-themed games and activities, and a pop-up vaccine clinic to “scare away the flu.”

Trick or treating will be available at vendor stands, and a photo booth will be onsite.

Working@Duke will be at the market, as well, to share live photos and video of the event and interviews with attendees on our Instagram and Facebook stories and on X.
