Transit and Parking Adjustments for Thanksgiving 2023

Duke will not operate its transit service, including Duke Vans, on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 23.

Reduced bus service will operate on Friday, Nov. 24, with limited C1, SWS (Swift), Lancaster and LaSalle Loop holiday service schedules, and no service for H Routes, PR1 and Duke Vans.

Parking garages and surface lots may be used without charge with a valid Duke permit Nov. 23 through Nov. 26 for employee and student motorists. Visitors will be required to pay the regular hourly rate.

These lots will not be available for permit parking on Nov. 24, due to basketball operations:

• Card Gym lot
• Chemistry lot
• Grounds lot
• Public Policy lot
• Whitford lot

The Parking and Transportation Services offices at the Science Drive Garage and Duke Clinic will be closed Nov. 23 - 24, and will reopen on Nov. 27.
