Duke University Stores is hosting its Apple Appreciation Sale April 19 through 21

Duke community members in the market for a new Apple device can get a discount during a sale on campus April 19 through April 21.

The Duke Technology Center — in Duke University Stores — is hosting its Apple Appreciation Sale on select models of the iPad Air, MacBook Air and MacBook Pro.

It is recommended that staff, students and faculty reserve their order in advance of the sale by 6 p.m. April 12. All orders must be picked up and paid for by April 21. 

Since 2016, Apple and Duke University Stores, an authorized campus store for Apple products and service, have worked together to offer sales that provide products at below the already low-price educational institutions offer. The last sale was in 2019 and was on hold due to the pandemic.

“We’re excited to offer this to the university community again,” said John Gorsuch, associate general manager of Retail Stores for Duke University Stores. “It’s an additional savings above and beyond the education pricing on select models.”

After reservations, the remaining inventory will be offered to walk-in customers on a first-come first-served basis at the Duke Technology Center in the lower level of the Duke University Stores. Only Duke staff, faculty and students are eligible for the discount.  All purchases include AppleCare+.
