Where to Turn for Duke Experts on Post-Election Analysis

It may take days to count votes in key states, but conversations have already begun about what the election results mean for the direction of the state and country. Over the next two days, Duke faculty experts will lead discussions of the results and what they expect to follow:

  • Four Duke political science, public policy and history faculty will review the results in a briefing for the media and the public at 11 a.m today (Wednesday) at the Sanford School of Public Policy. The briefing can also be watched on YouTube.
  • Duke State Relations and Duke Government Relations will explore the election’s implications for higher education policy and preview the 2023 legislative sessions at 10:30 a.m. Thursday. Register for the virtual session.
  • In a third session focused on the Duke Health community, Duke Health Government Relations and Duke State Relations will address how the results may affect health care policy at noon Thursday. Watch the Zoom session.
