Duke's employee discount program offers deals from Triangle area merchants
You may not be driving a lot during the pandemic, but if you’ve been delaying or need a car service, now may be the time to get it done with discounts from merchants in Duke’s employee discount program.
Tanya Leggett will take her 2012 Hyundai Sonata to Atlantic Tire & Service in Durham for an oil change and tire rotation before she makes the eight-hour, 500-mile roundtrip drive this September to see her mother in Hendersonville. The road trip to the Appalachian Mountains will be the longest drive she’s made this year.
“It’s nice to know the last thing I have to worry about on the drive to see my mom is my car breaking down,” said Leggett, a certified medical assistant for Duke Primary Care. “It’ll be a smooth trip.”
Atlantic Tire & Service offers a 10 percent discount on parts and labor and commercial tire rates, plus free shuttle service to Duke employees.

Get 10 percent off parts and services on automotive repairs in Apex and Wake Forest.
Hi Tech Motor, Inc.
Save $5 on your state inspection and 20 percent off all auto repairs, including parts and labor, at Hi Tech Motor in Durham.
JNM Auto
Cary-based JNM Auto offers 20 percent off any service and $10 off oil changes.
Prime Time Mobile Detailing & Oil Change
Prime Time Mobile Detailing & Oil Change, which has locations in Raleigh, Hillsborough and Holly Springs, offers 50 percent off all car wash and detailing services. Duke employees also receive 10 percent off ceramic coating.
