The performance of senior officers at Duke is reviewed at regular intervals by a broad-based committee of colleagues and trustees. Chief Audit, Risk and Compliance Officer Leigh Goller, who has served since 2016 is being reviewed this spring. Members of the Duke community are invited to submit comments for the review.

Members of the review committee are:

  • Pam Bernard (Chair), Vice President and General Counsel
  • Abbas Benmamoun, Vice Provost for Faculty Advancement
  • Rhonda Brandon, Chief Human Resources Officer and Sr. VP, DUHS
  • Marin Levy, Professor of Law, Duke School of Law
  • Bill Mayew, Professor of Accounting, Fuqua School of Business
  • Gerald Hassell, Duke University Trustee

The committee invites members of the Duke community to provide comments on Goller’s leadership effectiveness as chief audit, risk and compliance officer as well as assessments of her and her office’s ability to address future opportunities and challenges.

Your thoughts should be sent to admin-review@duke.edu and will be subsequently communicated to the committee. Information provided to the committee will be held in confidence but may be reported without attribution as part of the committee’s report that will be submitted to President Vincent E. Price.
