David Brooks, a columnist since 2003 for The New York Times, spoke this week at the 2019 Convocation & Pastors’ School at Duke Divinity School. "The loss of a sense of soul in the common culture has been a catastrophe," he said. Books he has written include “The Road to Character” and “The Second Mountain.”
