Mike German, fellow at the Brennan Center at NYU Law School, whistleblower and former undercover FBI agent, spoke Sept. 19 at Duke Law on, “Should We Treat White-Nationalist Terror Like ISIS?: A Debate on the Merits of Countering Violent Extremism” initiatives.
“We agree that having strong, inclusive, resilient communities makes it safer for everybody. But the key is not having law enforcement run these programs,” he said.
The Duke Law chapter of the American Constitution Society sponsored the event.
