Duke Transit Adjustments for Fourth of July 2019
The C1 and LL will offer limited summer holiday service on July 4
Duke will adjust transit routes and parking availability for the Independence Day holiday on July 4.
The C1 and LL will offer limited summer holiday service on July 4 from 8:15 a.m. to approximately 5:15 p.m.
Duke Vans will operate from 5 p.m. July 3 to 6:45 a.m. July 4. Limited service will resume at 5 p.m. July 4.
All routes resume regular summer schedules on Friday, July 5.

Parking garages and surface lots will operate under weekend access rules for employee and student motorists. Parking Garage 1, Parking Garage 2, Parking Garage 3, Parking Garage 4, Research Drive Garage, Science Drive Garage and most surface lots may be used on July 4 without charge with a valid Duke permit. Visitors will be required to pay the regular hourly rate.
In addition, the Parking and Transportation Services offices at the Science Drive Garage and Duke Clinic will be closed on July 4 in observance of the Independence Day holiday. On July 5, the Duke Clinic office will be open from 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. The Science Drive Garage office will reopen at 9 a.m. Monday, July 8.office
