Preserving Memory, Remembering Victims of Genocide

A marathon reading of victims' names continues on campus through noon Monday

The Coalition for Preserving Memory is a student group dedicated to memorializing and remembering victims of the seven United Nations recognized genocides. The group began reading names at noon Sunday on Abele Quad and is continuing through noon today (Monday). The coalition, which includes a variety of campus organizations, has held this event annual since 2013.

Members of the Duke and Durham community are invited to participate in the ceremony or to support it in attendance.
