Open Forum to Review Actions at February Trustee Meeting

Forums are part of new trustee communications initiative

As part of the new communication initiatives by the Board of Trustees, university officials will review the actions at the February trustees meeting at an open forum at 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, in the Holsti-Anderson Family Assembly Room, 153 Rubenstein Library.

The forums are designed to give members of the Duke community more information about the ongoing work of the trustees.

Within a week following each quarterly board meeting, the Office of the Secretary will post on the public Board of Trustees website summaries of meetings of the board, its standing committees and its strategic task forces. The summary of the February meeting can be found here.

In addition, officials will hold an open forum for all members of the Duke community to discuss the summaries and ask questions. Student and faculty members of committees and task forces will be invited to attend the forums and respond to questions. All members of the Duke community are welcome to attend the open forums.

The first trustee forum was held in January.
