Students Paint Memorial to Victims of Pittsburgh Shooting

A group of interfaith students paints a memorial to commemorate the victims of the synagogue shooting in Pittsburgh on the East Campus tunnel, Tuesday evening. They painted the Star of David along side the Pittsburgh Steelers logo -- a design that is prominent on social media -- along with the victims’ names and “we must build this world from LOVE."

The Duke community is invited to join the Center for Jewish Life in solidarity at a special Shabbat service at 6 p.m. Friday at the Freeman Center for Jewish Life. If you would like to attend, please RSVP.
