Peter Wittig, the German Ambassador to the U.S., gave a talk on Jan. 16, titled “The Need for a Strong Transatlantic Partnership in a Globalized World.” The event was sponsored by the Duke Program in American Grand Strategy and co-sponsored by the Sanford School of Public Policy and the Department of Political Science.
