Transit and Parking Adjustments for 2017 July Fourth Holiday
Limited bus service will be available on July 4
Duke Parking and Transportation Services will make adjustments to parking availability and transit routes for the July Fourth holiday.
The CCX and LL will both offer limited summer holiday service on July 4 from 8:15 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.
All routes resume regular summer schedules on July 5.
Duke Vans will operate on its regular schedule from 5 p.m. July 3 to 6:45 a.m. July 4. Service will resume at 5 p.m. July 4.
Parking garages and surface lots will operate under weekend access rules for employee and student motorists. Parking Garage 1, Parking Garage 2, Parking Garage 3, Parking Garage 4, Research Drive Garage, Science Drive Garage and most surface lots may be used on July 4 without charge with a valid Duke permit. Visitors will be required to pay the regular hourly rate.
In addition, the Parking and Transportation Services offices at the Science Drive Garage and Duke Clinic will be closed on July 4.
