Transit and Parking Adjustments for Memorial Day 2017
Only the CCX and LaSalle Loop bus routes and Duke Vans will operate on May 29
Duke Parking and Transportation Services will make adjustments to parking and transit routes for the Memorial Day holiday.
Due to fewer students, faculty and staff on campus, only the CCX and LaSalle Loop bus routes will operate on Monday, May 29. Each route will have one bus running from 8:15 a.m. to approximately 5:15 p.m. Duke Vans will run on its regular schedule from 5 p.m. to 6:45 a.m., but no other routes will have service.
All routes resume regular summer schedules on Tuesday, May 30.
Parking garages and surface lots will operate under weekend access rules for employee and student motorists. Parking Garage 1, Parking Garage 2, Parking Garage 3, Parking Garage 4, Research Drive Garage, Science Drive Garage and most surface lots may be used on Memorial Day without charge with a valid Duke permit. Visitors will be required to pay the regular hourly rate.
In addition, the Parking and Transportation Services offices at Science Drive Garage and Duke Clinic will be closed on May 29 in observance of the Memorial Day holiday.
