Traffic Advisory: Dec. 10 Parade to Impact East Campus
Durham will close down an intersection at South Buchanan Boulevard
Motorists and pedestrians may see some congested traffic by the southeast corner of East Campus on Saturday, Dec. 10, as the Durham Holiday Parade travels along West Main Street.
The parade will start at 10 a.m. at the intersection of East Main and Dillard streets before ending at West Main and South Buchanan Boulevard. Police will close that intersection by Duke’s campus to act as a de-staging area for those participating in the parade. Some additional breakdown may also take place on Campus Drive, but traffic will not be blocked.
