Arrest Made in Nov. 2 Central Campus Robbery

Durham man being held at Durham County Jail

Fuquan James Wall, a 24-year old Durham resident, has been arrested in connection with a Nov. 2 robbery on Central Campus.

Wall was arrested Nov. 19 on charges of robbery with a dangerous weapon, issued by Duke Police, as well as additional breaking and entering and fraud charges by the Durham Police Department. Wall is being held at Durham County Jail under a $250,000 bond.

Police said Wall’s charges stem from the robbery of a food delivery worker with a knife in the parking lot of 1911 Yearby Street on Central Campus on Nov. 2. At the time, three active warrants for Wall were on record with Durham Police.

Wall was arrested as a result of a tip submitted to Durham CrimeStoppers after Duke Police issued a statement requesting assistance from the public in their investigation.
