Arrest Warrant Issued for Man in Campus Robbery

Duke Police have identified a 24-year old Durham man in connection with a Nov. 2 robbery

The Duke University Police Department has issued an arrest warrant for a Durham man in connection with a robbery on Central Campus Nov. 2.

Investigators issued the warrant for Fuquan James Wall, 24, on a charge of robbery with a dangerous weapon. Wall is 5 feet 10 inches tall, about 160 pounds, and has shortly cut hair, according to Duke Police. He has no known affiliation with Duke University or Health System.

Wall is suspected of robbing a food delivery worker with a knife in the parking lot of 1911 Yearby Street around 10:15 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2. He was last seen fleeing toward Anderson Street wearing blue jeans and a grey or brown shirt.

In addition to Duke Police’s warrant, Wall also has three active warrants on record with the Durham Police Department.

Investigators are requesting assistance from the Duke and local community in the apprehension of Wall.
