Mikkelsen Wins Early-Career Award from American Physical Society

The America Physical Society has named Duke Assistant Professor Maiken H. Mikkelsen winner of its 2017 Maria Goeppert Mayer Award, citing Mikkelsen's "outstanding potential" in the field of quantum nanophotonics. The award, which recognizes achievement by early-career female physicists, grants the recipient $2,500 plus a $4,000 travel stipend to give public lectures on her field.
