Finally, Duke’s West Union celebrated its grand reopening on September 2nd after three years of renovations. The space features 13 new eateries – twelve of which are locally owned – and brings Durham’s foodie culture right onto campus. The new construction also houses a teaching kitchen and plenty of meeting space. This the first major overhaul of the building since its creation nearly a century ago.
