Message from President and Provost on Events in Tulsa, Charlotte

Dear Duke Colleagues,

We are heartsick about recent events in Tulsa and in Charlotte, our North Carolina neighbor. These events have reopened painful wounds for our Black community and have been gut-wrenching for all of us who stand in solidarity with our Black colleagues, friends, and students.  We write to reaffirm Duke's commitment to full inclusion and equal respect for all. This is a time for our community to come together in support and healing for everyone.
