Duke, State and US Flags Lowered on Campus to Honor Shimon Peres

Governor Pat McCrory has ordered all United States and North Carolina flags at State facilities to be lowered to half-staff through sunset Sept. 30, 2016, as a mark of respect for the memory of Shimon Peres, former President and Prime Minister of Israel. In accordance with Duke policy, the university flags will be lowered on campus as well.
