Parking/Transit Advisory: July 4 Holiday
There will be no bus service on the Fourth of July
Duke Parking and Transportation Services will make adjustments to parking availability and transit routes for Independence Day.
In observance of the holiday, no bus routes will operate on Monday, July 4. All routes resume regular summer schedules on Tuesday, July 5.
Duke Vans will operate on its normal schedule from July 3 until 6:45 a.m. July 4. Service will resume at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday, July 5.
Parking garages and surface lots will operate under weekend access rules for employee and student motorists. Parking Garage 1, Parking Garage 2, Parking Garage 3, Parking Garage 4, Research Drive Garage and most surface lots may be used on Independence Day without charge with a valid Duke permit. Visitors will be required to pay the regular hourly rate.
In addition, the Parking and Transportation Services offices on Campus Drive and Duke Clinic will be closed on July 4 in observance of the Independence Day holiday.
