A Labor Day Tradition: Sunday Pops with the Duke Symphony Orchestra

The Duke Symphony Orchestra begins its 2015-16 season with its annual outdoor pops concert, which has become a campus Labor Day tradition, drawing students and community members.

The free concert will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 6,  If it’s rain, it’ll be held indoors in Baldwin Auditorium.

Under the direction of Harry Davidson, the symphony performs music from Broadway and popular movies as well as lighter works by American composers and patriotic fare. Bring a picnic, family members and friends to this outdoor concert and enjoy the ending of summer and the beginning of a new school year.
