More than 100 photos have been shared as part of Working@Duke’s #DukeTimeOff photo campaign.

In addition to shots of employees enjoying North Carolina beaches and backyards in Massachusetts, recent submissions hail from Ireland, Puerto Rico and Turkey.

“Drinking Turkish tea in Istanbul with my #duketimeoff My first adult vacation overseas,” wrote Jill Zalewski, a residence coordinator with Residential Life, with tea in hand.

Along with others, that image will be considered for a Duke beach chair prize as part of the campaign to highlight hobbies and adventures of faculty and staff this summer. Kyle Fox, associate director of the University Center Activities and Events, was the first winner of a beach chair during the #DukeTimeOff campaign.

The next winner will be announced the week of June 22 and two more prizes remain to be awarded in July:

  • An overnight stay with breakfast at the Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club
  • Lunch at the Washington Duke Inn’s Fairview Dining Room

In addition, summer-themed prize packs will be awarded to three participants at the end of the campaign in August.
