Traffic Advisory: Closure of Chapel Drive
Repair project from roundabout to the Chapel on West Campus will last until mid-August
This week, Duke’s Facilities Management Department closed Chapel Drive from its roundabout to the Chapel as part of a project to repair pavement on the road.
During construction, only emergency vehicles and construction traffic will be allowed entry along this stretch of Chapel Drive. Barring weather delays, work to add new asphalt, granite curb and concrete sidewalks is expected to complete on Aug. 14.
