Traffic Advisory: Trent Drive Construction April 20-24
Landscaping work will take place at night to minimize impacts
Nighttime pedestrian and motorist traffic will be impacted next week along Trent Drive as Duke’s Facilities Management Department oversees road and landscaping repair.
The work, which will take place between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. from April 20 to 24, will primarily take place along a 400-feet stretch of road on Trent Drive between Parking Garage I and the Baker House. While work takes place overnight, one lane will be closed at a time, allowing traffic to flow along one remaining open lane.
During construction, crews will be available to direct traffic. Traffic signs will also be set up to assist with pedestrian and motorist safety.
Duke community members may experience evening delays on Duke bus and Bull City Connector routes that follow Trent Drive, but buses will still be able to access stops along the road.
