Summer Bus Schedule Starts May 4
C1 routes won’t run until August
Duke Parking and Transportation Services will begin its summer schedule for Duke bus routes on Monday, May 4. As part of the change, some routes will cease until August while others will make adjustments to normal routes.
The C1 buses, including C1: East-West, C1X: East-West Express and CSW: Smith Warehouse will not run until the 2015-16 academic year begins in August.
A revised CCX bus will operate throughout the summer, serving East, Central and West campuses, but the route and schedule has been adjusted for service to/from Swift Avenue (eastbound) and Maxwell Street at Smith Warehouse (westbound).
The CCX route will also need to adjust due to construction on Chapel Drive. Access to the West Campus Chapel bus stop will be closed from May 11 to Aug. 14, so the route will pick-up and drop-off passengers at Flowers Drive at Duke Gardens the Campus Drive-Chapel Drive traffic circle.
Passengers should note the PR1 route will be partially detoured from May 11 through August 2016. Construction on Bassett Drive will result in stoppage of Grounds Lot service via NC-751/Cameron Boulevard. The PR1 detour map is available online here.
