Why Duke Employees, Grad Students Should Unpark and Win an ELF

This spring, Duke University and Health System employees and graduate students compete in the Unpark Yourself Challenge, a team-based competition to encourage sustainable commuter options. The grand prize: an ELF from Durham’s Organic Transit, a recumbent bike-electric vehicle hybrid that uses no gas, is road safe, travels up to 35 miles per hour and parks at a bike rack.

ELF rider and Duke professor Charlotte Clark explains why she loves her ELF and why participants should get excited to win one of their own.
