Duke Faculty Score in Media with Rapid Response

Duke faculty members are in the news in increasing numbers, and usually on subjects of timely interest. From Elizabeth Frankenberg on the anniversary of the 2004 South Pacific tsunami to William Darity on employment prospects for young African-American males, Duke faculty are applying their research to the news of the day.

But first, reporters have to know that Duke has experts who are available to provide insights and perspective for their news stories. An article in the latest issue of CASE's Currents magazine profiles the university's syndicated Rapid Response service, which was created more than a decade ago to connect journalists with Duke faculty members on breaking news stories.
