Help Turn Sun Bowl Duke Blue

The success of Duke Football under Coach David Cutcliffe has been nothing short of remarkable:  25 wins over the last three years, an ACC Coastal Division championship in 2013, three consecutive bowl bids for the first time in Duke history.  And all of this has been accomplished without compromising the academic standards of the university.  Duke remains among the leaders nationally in the Graduation Success Rate of its football student-athletes.

At the heart of this success lies an unshakeable commitment to the quality of the total student-athlete experience, in the classroom, on the field, and in the community.  And a vital part of a first-rate experience for our students is the support of Duke fans; it means so much to our players to see you in the stands on game-day.  I hope that as many of you as possible will join us in cheering for our team in the Sun Bowl on December 27th in El Paso.  At the same time, I recognize that it’s a long trip during a challenging time of the year.  So as an alternative, we ask you to show your support for the Blue Devils and help turn the Sun Bowl Blue by purchasing a ticket or tickets to be distributed to underprivileged youth or to service members and their families. For only $50, not only will these deserving individuals be cheering for Duke but they will receive a Duke blue football t-shirt to wear during the game.
